Beautiful final talk at EMBOaxons2021 by Klaus-Armin Nave, on myelin lipids as energy source for axons. Many implications. Also mentioned neuron/glia lipid/lactate shuttle in Drosophila, from Liu, Bellen & colleagues. Lovely example of model orgs influencing vertebrates FlyBase

And that was the end of EMBOaxons2021 ! 4 days of top scientific presentations and interactions. A big thanks to the organisers Maren Engelhardt AxonalPlasticityLab, Maarten Kole and Matt Grubb Grubb Lab for bringing the axons community together in such an event!
