Making waves! 🌊 After meticulous planning the critical care therapy team had their first aquatic therapy session with a critical care patient with a diagnosis of MND & a long term tracheostomy. At todays NW Winter Planning Event AHPs@ELHT shared how they contribute their skills to support UEC Pathways East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust 💙 preventing admissions in care homes, working at advanced level to support 2hrUCR, consultant level to lead acute frailty unit & deliver the home first pathway


We have a fantastic opportunity for an SLT to apply for a 6 months 8a secondment within L&SC. The role is to continue with and build on the established dysphagia support within the region. Just need enthusiasm and a clinical background in dysphagia. DM me for details! L&SC ISNDN
