A week ago the Tory candidate for London mayor raised the machete crisis in London.

Sadiq khan’s response? “I think the Tory candidate should stop watching The Wire.”

He doesn’t care. He thinks it’s a big joke. These words are utterly hollow.

Members are the beating heart of our Party. Even as a Chairman in the Labour stronghold of Islington they were out week after week standing up for Tory values.

The real answer here is for MPs to ensure they are happy to serve under anyone who makes it to the member’s vote.
