What the hell is the Scottish Govt doing about this strike ? Where is Graeme Dey ? Where is Jenny Gilruth ? Are they going to starve lecturers back to work? It is outrageous that they are sitting back and doing nothing
Peter Woods Neil Findlay Graeme Dey Jenny Gilruth Every trade unionist should be following the FE dispute very closely, and be very worried. Workers are getting ground down by continual strike action, reps being made redundant, TUs ignored in colleges, principals deeming staff with impunity & no intervention from ScotGov? ✊
Wow. Congratulations to College Employers Scotland & Scottish Government who have managed to fail college students for 2 successive years. 2 cohorts finishing with no results due to your inaction. 2 years of failure by Graeme Dey Shame on you all, we won’t forget it at the ballot box
Exclusive by Garrett Stell for The Herald City of Glasgow College will deduct full pay from boycotting staff, although colleges have been warned that doing so could invite legal challenges. heraldscotland.com/news/24410327.…

Hopeful news! Like colleagues across the country, we just want to be doing our jobs. The college sector is being put through the wringer but accessible FE and HE is needed more than ever. #FightingForFE EISFela Graeme Dey College Employers Scotland
The Herald team put weeks into answering some of the big questions about Scottish university funding and the model that sustains the sector. Today was just the start. Much more to come this week as we dig into student trends and look to the future.
