In March we visited Lairdsland Early Years Centre 🤩 to do a STEM through Stories session based on Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson 🧩🐵We learned about what our senses were & used these to help us to find Monkeys mummy in the story👀👂🖐️👃👅We enjoyed making some animal sounds! Michaela Dickson

It was lovely to attend Illustrator Lucy Roger’s Scottish Book Trust Inclusive Tour sessions last week📖First up was Harestanes Primary 📚P3 enjoyed listening to Lucy’s experiences at school, listening to one of the books she illustrated, learning some BSL &having a go at drawing Pop! 🐶

Next up on the Scottish Book Trust Inclusive Tour was Holy Family Primary School 📚 The children enjoyed asking lots of fabulous questions, listening to a story about the moon disappearing 🌙 & had a go at drawing Mrs O (a character from the story) #readingschool
