Yesterday was a record breaker for #heat in the Mackenzie Delta, Arctic Coast and parts of the Sahtu. Fort McPherson saw its hottest day on record, with temperatures spiking to 34.3°C. The heat is sticking around into the weekend #NTStorm Bulletin: ow.ly/oIVa50STgnJ

The numbers are in, and it was a hot August for much of the NWT especially in the ISR, with temperature anomalies of 3-4C. Paulatuk tied its previous record for its hottest August ever, and set its top three all-time high temperatures during a heat wave early in the month. #NTwx
