Progressive Pets Term limits look reasonable at first glance, but they are a bad idea. Governing well takes skills, and you don't want to boot people who are building/have built those skills, especially if they are still interested in continuing public service, rather than cashing in. 1/

Progressive Pets Public funding would reduce the advantages of incumbency. Disclosure reqs, revolving door limits would help fight corruption. Funding congressional staff would reduce the relative power of lobbyists. We don't have to throw the baby out with the bathwater. 2/2
