Too many kids who can’t hit double digits in a body weight chin-up (with proper ROM, no kipping/kicking) attempting 1-3rm’s with additional load. Another case of ego over common sense.

News flash: if you’re a high school athlete “sprinting” with a weighted sled in hopes of increasing acceleration/speed & there’s a minimum of 45lbs of the sled, you can bet your bottom dollar that ZERO acceleration development or true speed work was accomplished.

The weaker you are the louder you bark.

Clowns who attach themselves to college/pro athletes every chance they get to market their business are a dime a dozen. I just wish some of these guys would have some integrity & also take credit when the same athletes underachieve, go down w/ non-contact injuries, get cut, etc..

It’s that time of year again when professional athletes flock to beaches in droves for that ”cutting edge” sand training. What they fail to realize is by training in sand, ground reaction forces are destroyed, therefore IT IS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE to developing speed & power.
