ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಭಾರಿ ಮಳೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ವಿಜಯನಗರ, ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರ, ವೆಸ್ಟ್‌ ಆಫ್‌ ಕಾರ್ಡ್‌ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದೆ. ನೆಲಕ್ಕುರುಳಿರುವ ಮರದ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರವು ಮಾಡಿ, ಕಡಿತಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಲೈನ್ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಧಾರಾಕಾರ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಮಳೆ ಹಾನಿ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ, ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಸೇರಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ 61 ತಂಡಗಳು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ‌. ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆಯ ಆಗಮನವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಮಳೆಗಾಲವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಮಳೆಗಾಲದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
