Dutchess BOCES' School of Practical Nursing saw 48 students graduate Monday. This year, four sets of siblings graduated together and Alisa Landi accepted an honorary certificate of completion on behalf of her late father, who was studying to be a nurse. Congratulations!

SPC students spoke, sang and danced their way through an Alphabet Parade and Ceremony Tuesday, showing classmates, family and staff a bit of what they learned in the last year. At the end, each received a certificate celebrating their completion of the school year.

SPC students entered summer with a Big Wave from staff on the last day of class Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Staff waved, held up signs and shouted farewell to students, wishing them a good summer.

Salt Point Center Extended School Year Program staff are preparing for the arrival of nearly 200 students next week. The program runs from July 7 to August. 15 and helps prevent the loss of academic and social skills over the summer months. Read more at dcboces.org.

Rhinebeck’s Danielle Rocco enjoyed her experience representing Dutchess BOCES at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta. She was the first CTI student to win a state nursing assistant title to qualify for nationals. Read more dcboces.org.

CTI teachers and others took advantage of program to earn credit toward certification through a partnership with Dutchess BOCES Educational Resources, SUNY Oswego and the CTE Technical Assistance Center. Read more at dcboces.org.

BOCES staff beat the heat Thursday by partaking in some ice cream at the CTI main office. They had a choice between cookies and cream and chocolate ice cream and a multitude of toppings. Thank you Principal Millas and Stewart's for providing a sweet treat to staff!
