We are very excited to be incubating some chicks to help out a local farmer. The students are taking very good care of these precious eggs by monitoring the temperature of the incubator, rotating the eggs and observing carefully for changes. We can’t wait until they arrive!!

June is Pride month and a time where we fly the pride flag at all OCDSB schools. Our Rainbow Club organized a small flag raising moment and now we wait for the breeze to blow!

It’s been a busy week at Dunlop and it’s only Thursday! The Rainbow club had a parade, Ottawa Fire services gave presentations and our Dunlop track and field students are doing a great job at the Regional meet today. Yes - we have a few medalists!!

Our junior girls are participating in Sports Day the Girl Way today. It’s an honour to hear from some pillars of the sports community and to try some great new-to-us activities.

A big thank you to the parents who attended our Health Curriculum Conversation this evening. We were able to have an open and honest look at the Gr1-6 health curriculum and answer questions about how things are taught. A huge thanks to Ms Cressman, Mr. Rashid and Jennifer. OCDSB
