Coastal Alabama's Women's Softball Team volunteered in Dumas Wesley's After School Achievement Program. Over the years, this has become one of our children’s favorite events. Participants enjoyed eating supper and playing t-ball with the team. TY for a fun afternoon.

Today, seniors participating in the SAIL (Senior Activities for Independent Living) program came together for a Thanksgiving celebration. The event featured fun holiday games and a delicious meal, generously sponsored by A.J. McCarron and Dee Dee McCarron-Perciavalle.

This Saturday, Ashland Place United Methodist Church and Dumas Wesley will be hosting a Love the Locals Food Drive and Music Festival. You are invited to stop by and donate non-perishable goods, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies to support The Joseph Project Food Pantry!

Due to anticipated rain on Saturday, the Love the Locals Food Drive and Music Festival has been postponed. We will provide updates regarding a rescheduled date in the near future. Thank you for your understanding.

A HUGE thank you to our donors thus far. The Annual Toy Store allows low-income families an opportunity to purchase new toys and bikes for Christmas at a fraction of their retail value with all proceeds benefiting our free After School Achievement Program.

We are beyond grateful for the kindness shown by Chris Francis Tree Care today! While working at the Baldwin Family Village, their team went the extra mile to help a resident get her car back on the road. It’s these quiet acts of kindness that make our community so special. TY!

This afternoon, our staff is participating in a professional development day led by Dumas Wesley Board Member, Katherine Koury. The workshop, "Renew, Recharge, Refocus: Burnout Prevention," focuses on supporting sustainable service in mission-driven work.

It was an honor to share stories of hope and transformation with Executive Director, Caroline Clark, and Board Member, Carol Hunter, from the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation (ACJF) during their tour of our Mobile and Baldwin County campuses today.

Our after-school program participant, Tylon, was beaming with pride while sharing his behavior report yesterday afternoon! We're so proud of you, Tylon—keep up the great work!

Door-to-door transportation in the Senior Activities for Independent Living Program is more than just a ride—it’s a lifeline keeping our seniors connected, active, and loved. Five days a week, we pick our seniors up from their homes, bring them to the Center, and then back home.
