Joining the stolen farm truck club today. They stole this 02 f350 and our neighbors early 2000 tan duramax crew as well. Made a mess of our building trying to pull gun safe through wall. Frustrating.

They hooked our truck to the safe and tried pulling it through the back door, they had tried every tool they could find to pry off the wall including jackal. When safe popped off wall it hit support post for upstairs storage which 1000's lbs came crashing down.

Truck was found in less than 12 hrs after it was stolen. Which is good except we only found that out today by reading it on portage-online. Hopefully still drivable...

This field was flooded 3 times after planting and the last time was june 15th. Today we are harvesting 23% corn with great yield. Surface drainage helps and tile allowing roots to go down after the big rain events ended. Also 🌽its corn! 🌽it has the juice. PLS

Custom liquid manure guys back out this morning saying they cant make it this year. Anyone know someone that could help us out in next 5 days? Either doing the job or renting us equipment that we can do it ouselves. Need pump and trailer, no agitator needed. 1m gal

Thanks to Cindy Mangin, CCA and husband Steve for showing our clan their new barn. It is amazing how far robotics, automation and data collection has come in this industry. Very efficient and comfortable for the cows. Great facility.

Did a test run though our new Oakland dryer today. Looking forward to the smell of corn.

National Farm machinery show, day 1 summary. They say 300,000 walk through. It is big and nice to see some different booths compared to what we typically see up north.

Day 2 was a full day and there is more to cover than what we have time for on our last day. It is physically possible to cover all 40 acres of building, but not if you stop at too many booths. Never been to real tractor pull so that was fun to watch people's expensive hobbies.

Gravity wagons with scales are a great way to measure product on the yard and on the field. Here is a recent project we installed a scale on. This wagon we went with a retro paint colours.

Today I was able to install the new Serial Link remote display on our Kinzie 1050 grain cart.
