Had a bit of a nightmare with trying to get rid of silvering on decals, ended up breaking them. Had to resort to masking and painting. Not perfect but will have to do.

Nearly at the finish line, trying my best to get it done and not sideline it for the P47 I’m itching to start

About done now, P47 next.

Didn’t appreciate just how much of a beast it was until I put it next to the 109!

Should be able to start getting it together properly soon. Work stops play though for a bit.

Choice between doing a bit or sleeping before night shifts start. I’ll be tired later

Usually a bit of a trumpeter fan, this one though isn’t impressing much, every decal I’ve tried so far has broken, few other issues too. Maybe it’s just me (again)

Bit of a break from the Jug, thought I’d try finish this 1/48 spit I’ve been picking up/putting down for long enough now. Made my life even harder by sticking a motor in it. Nearly done

Still not finished due spending most of the day trying to fix the Eduard decals. Bit of a nightmare and almost went in bin. Few bits and another stand it’s done hopefully

Anyone worked out how to remove the film from the new style Eduard decals yet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the replies on the decal question. Looks like the only way to do it is the way I did it. That was just by accident, got some masking tape on one and it lifted ok, tried it with the others and wasn’t so lucky. I’ll have to try to mask and paint. Bloody annoying

Both still to be finished, weathering etc, then I really should get back on with P47. I’m trying to ignore a 1/24 spit that keeps shouting at me from the stash.
