Happy Birthday to Ryne Farber!

A name several people have mentioned to me as a standout for Texas State Baseball this fall: freshman Ryne Farber. One of my absolute favorites in the ✭Five Tool Texas✭ class is already hitting at high level and hardly ever striking out. Playing SS, too.

Fun hearing former 2023 Driller Ryne Farber now Texas State Baseball speaking to the 2027 Alamo Drillers. Talked about winning on the field and off. Then the Drillers went out and took care of business in the semis to advance to the Five Tool Baseball championship.

Ryne Farber, a Johnson grad and the 2023 Express-News baseball POTY, is headed to Auburn after two seasons at Texas State.

TRANSFER: Auburn has landed Texas State middle infielder Ryne Farber. An elite bat-to-ball artist with plus speed on the bases. Can handle shortstop and second base. Was an absolute dynamo in 2024.

Played high school baseball with his dad. Ryne has been an amazing advocate for his sister who has a disability. Proud of him for using his platform to advance opportunities for the disability community. Auburn got themselves a ball player and an even better person.
