One person died in a rollover crash around 4 this morning on W Powell Blvd in Gresham at Florence Ave. Police say the car crashed into a fence and this tree, and the driver was thrown from the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

At 3:24 this morning crews responded to a structure fire on SE Flavel, where they found heavy fire from a single house; the flames threatened a bravo exposure. Command called a 2nd alarm due to heavy fire and transitioned between offensive/defensive modes before knocking it down

Gresham Fire on scene of a house fire at 176th and Flanders. Crews tell me an elderly couple lived here and got out of the home. Garage is destroyed and extensive damage to the house. Crews will be on scene through the morning. FOX 12 Oregon

Portland firefighters are holding a moment of silence outside fire stations across the city to honor those who lost their lives 23 years ago on 9/11. They held moments of silence 6:58 and 7:28 to mark the collapse of the north and south towers.

A 7.0 undersea quake at 10:44am has prompted a Tsunami Warning for the southern Oregon coast SOUTH of Florence (not north/central coast). This was NOT on Cascadia Subduction Zone. Quake was about 60 miles west of Eureka, CA

Wave generated from the quake (whether just a blip or a foot, or more) will arrive at coastline before noon. Tsunami Warnings just say "until further notice" by default. That doesn't mean a tsunami will appear 1-2-3 days from now!

Tree removal crews are arriving at the Shute Park Library in Hillsboro to remove a large tree that fell on the roof last night. No one was hurt. City says the library is planning to open today but delayed until later this afternoon, most likely. FOX 12 Oregon

Police are investigating a 2nd shooting at a Tigard Tesla dealership in a week. They say the shooting was reported just after 4:15 this morning. Around 10-15 shots and they say there is extensive damage to the building and vehicles. FOX 12 Oregon
