In the midst of the summer season, water safety is paramount, and SMFR is urging individuals to take proactive measures to prevent drowning accidents. One of the key recommendations is wearing a personal flotation device around water.

Our hearts are heavy every June 6 as we remember the life of Drennen Peter O’Melia, but we are resolute in our mission to prevent future drownings.
