Don’t want to give too much away but CCB Alway House House Speech and Drama Company ran an awesome tech. Well done to their directors! Few more rehearsals to polish their pieces and they’ll be ready for their dress. Well done everyone!

Another incredible creative day of LAMDA lessons. From Shakespeare to Willy Russell, A Few Good Men to Dennis Kelly, speeches on guitars to mental well being, human conflict to rugby.

Year 9 enjoyed the last drama lesson of this half term through fun drama exercises which build collaboration, leadership and focus. Looking forward to seeing some of them perform on Thursday in the House Speech and Drama!

Year 9 started the half term brilliantly with energy and effective team working followed by collaboration and creative work around scenes from Blood Brothers.

And it’s that time again- @LAMDAdrama Examinations. A wide range of subjects and grades from Grade 2 Verse and Prose, to Acting, to Grade 8 Speaking in Public.

Incredibly proud of each student in Year 8Y CCB Alway House yesterday. They were asked to create and devise their own piece of drama based on a stimuli of their own choice. A couple of funny moments but a majority of the work created was moving and poignant. Well done all!

Well done CCB Donaldson House & CCB Orchard House pupils who took their LAMDA Grade 5 & Gold Grade 8 Acting Solo Exams today. From Euripides to Willy Russell, from Blood Brothers to A Few Good Men. Results in 6 weeks. Incredibly proud. Next stop Shakespeare and Speaking in Public.
