Where I live we are desperately short of GPs and would love more, I thought it was similar throughout the country in the main? Btw 1 or 2 instances is not evidence. Thx

Over the same period GP FTE numbers have fallen 900
Practices have had real terms reduced income of 20%
Can’t afford to employ/retain GPs despite 8k shortage
