Great to work with Agrii who have dropped off some black rot infect brassicas Warwick Crop Centre today. The #XanthomonasThreats team will isolate and characterise the bacteria using our new molecular diagnostics and sequencing. All will contribute to sustainable disease control 🥦

Sampling in the ☀️ today with Mojgan Rabiey, organised through Agrii. We’ve isolated #phage effective against #xanthomonas a bacteria that causes black rot of brassicas. Now we’re investigating the impact of phage on the brassica #microbiome 🥬 🥦
