People, I give you Omega Centauri - one of the greatest globular clusters. C80. Imaged with the Seestar S50 Telescope, just 10km from the Melbourne CBD.

Good morning people. Happy Friday. A dark day for me as I am having a blood test and fasting is required so the coffee must wait. 😬😬😬😬

Imaging Galaxy M61 tonight. Almost 50 million light years away. An intermediate barred spiral galaxy. Amazing what you can do with a backyard telescope.

Very bright moon last night, but it didn't stop the little Seestar S50 from doing a good nights work for me. Here is M83, the Southern Pinwheel Galaxy. A Glorious Galaxy!

When I was a kid my parents bought these encyclopedia books - one a week at the supermarket. We could not afford anything else. These books got me through high school while those I competed with had Brittanica. I feel comfort just looking at these books.

Thankfully Anson Mount πŸ–– has brought back the Star Trek that can guide us all. A beacon of hope and potential. To inspire, educate, and above all remind us that we can do better.
