In April 2000 I was appointed as a Rheumatology consultant at University College London Hospital and 5 months later I took over leading the Rheumatology teaching there for UCL Medical School. 22 years later, yesterday was my last day in charge. Here are some things I learned.t

So, to conclude I learned that teaching is great and I love it. Medical students are amazing and I often wish they were happier. What we teach and how we teach it really makes a difference. At least I like to believe that.
