A footballer has been cleared of raping a sleeping woman + intending to cause distress by sending naked photos of her to his teammates w/the caption âanyone want a go?â and a crying laughing emoji.
âI was just showing off and being a lad.'

While the focus of Family courts is often on children, listen to this experience of family courts without children. Safety measures not put in place, bumping into perpetrators and no accountability taken. #FamilyCourts
I am immensely grateful to Dr Charlotte Proudman who has kindly assisted me in pursuing this matter. She does so much for survivors, and her help means the world. It is so heartening to see women supporting other women.
My rapistâs lawyer has been ordered to pay me ÂŁ1000 compensation after my complaint against him for traumatising me in court was upheld. Itâs a fraction of what he earned for the case, and he still hasnât apologised. I will now appeal the penalty, and push for a harsher sanction.
The comments made by family court judges to survivors of domestic abuse are frankly horrific.
This is why I support the campaign to train judges about domestic abuse and coercive control led by
Women's Aid Melanie Janine Brown MBE.
.Ellie Wilson took her rapist & his lawyer to court & won.
How dare a lawyer, Mr Alonzi tell the court his rapist client âfell in love with the wrong personâ; he didnât belong in court; it was âdifficult not to imagine some sense of injustice in it allâ.
This is dangerous.
See Dr Charlotte Proudman's article for FiLiAHagueMothers 'As of 2021, roughly 75% of taking persons were mothers. According to the European Parliamentâs Committee on Legal Affairs Report with 70% suspected domestic violence cases' - notable absence in this article uk.news.yahoo.com/nearly-1-000-pâŠ
I didn't need to see videos of Sean Combs (P. Diddy) attacking Cassie Ventura before I believed her.
