Oh no, I’ve been blocked by a PeeringDB board member (@JobSnijders) who clearly doesn’t like being called-out on something as simple as “hey, you should tweet once in a while about the upcoming elections”. Clearly I won’t be voting for him in the present board election cycle!

Disappointing to see #BGP getting blamed for the Facebook outage in this BBC News (World) story.

BGP worked just fine. It was Facebook’s automation software that caused FB to withdraw routes, including those hosting their authoritative DNS.

INTERESTING: neither PeeringDB, Chris Caputo Chris Caputo - Secretary/Treasurer, or any board member have been tweeting about board elections and deadlines. So I’ll do it for them!
