'Dana-Farber CEO Laurie Glimcher to step down next month' Larry Edelman writes The Boston Globe The article only casually mentions (at the end) the ~50 concerning Dana Farber articles posted to @[email protected], 11 of which were authored by Dr. Glimcher. bostonglobe.com/2024/09/03/bus…

The IDF could march onto the set of BBC News At Ten, shoot the presenters in the head execution style and they would still cover it "Hullabaloo in London as 2 journalists pass away. Sources suggest Hamas involvement"

Reading the health experts, I am starting to think with horror that if it's not stopped, Israel's assault could end up exterminating almost the entire population in Gaza over the next couple of years. The range of presumable direct and indirect deaths could be between 15 and

I’m starting to think that we should be paying Corruptario TDot Resident EnvironmentalDefence RCMP salaries on top of what they normally do. They’ve uncovered more corruption then any police force in 🇨🇦 For fucks sake they even included a map! #Onpoli #Generalstrike #DoFoMustGo

Yesterday I was having a conversation about lack of curiosity and knowledge around disability in education despite having a whole bureaucratic apparatus to manage it, and it’s not difficult to see why when you read things like this. Like. I’m getting second hand embarrassment.

We love it. We'd do more of it, but we have jobs. 😄 One day we hope to have enough paid subscribers so one of us can write for Corrruptario full time. There's so much corruption to report on. No paywall ever, thanks to our paid subscribers. ❤️ corruptario.ca

As a disabled Canadian, this is not helpful. It reinforces ableism, makes disability something to be whispered about instead of discussed explicitly, as though to shield the abled majority from discomfort & that ANYONE can become disabled? PS: Disability is always relevant.

If deaths continue at this rate – about 23,000 a month – there would be an additional 149,500 deaths by the end of the year. Using the method, the total deaths since the conflict began would be estimated at about 335,500 in total. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Important read here 👇🏾 We have been so misinformed about disability, one of the worst parts is how paternalistic our systems are, utterly erasing disabled people’s voices & denying their autonomy & self-determination. Dehumanized & given no credit when naming their oppression.

The #Grenfell Tower Inquiry’s final report has revealed how opportunities to produce evacuation plans for disabled residents of Grenfell – and other high-rise buildings in the borough – were repeatedly rejected by those responsible for their safety. buff.ly/4gh0qxw

1,350 on hallway stretchers, 250,000 on surgery wait lists, only 3,000 new hospital beds planned of 16,000 needed, frequent ER closures, funding less this year than last. Isn’t alcohol in convenience stores just pixie dust to distract us from our deteriorating hospital system?

By allowing the JDL & other vigilante groups on campus, and by falsely associating anti-genocide demands w Anton Semiot, my employer, University of Toronto, has created conditions that make dozens of students, staff & faculty targets of hate, & the same applies to journalists doing their job
