Great commentary from Milena Bond Christian Dejaco in @ARD_BMJ on subclinical GCA & PMR 👏 Amongst our excitement, lots of important questions asked that need answering. Without letting unblinded imaging bias outcomes, what does subclinical GCA actually mean for PMR prognosis?

I have to say: upadacitinib looks very decent for GCA. Not a panacea, but it definitely does something & good safety during trial. Would love to eventually see: - H2H comparative effect vs toci, secukinumab - structural outcomes - long-term safety #EULAR2024 PBA0001 Dr. John Cush
PMR patients get too much steroid. Data across 27 million people in England, n=39,438 with PMR. The blue are getting more pred than guidelines. Like everything in rheum: we need to be giving less pred, not more. Lumping PMR in with GCA won’t help. #EULAR2024 POS0411 Dr. John Cush
