I was honored to take part in Black Health: A Journey through Time with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I shared my personal story, passion and how we can all work together to achieve health equity.

I connected with Cleveland Department of Public Health Director Dr. Dave Margolius in DC during the Big Cities Health Coalition meeting. BCHC includes public health leaders for 35 of our largest cities. We discussed ways to protect the people we serve and across the country.

I had a wonderful time with our partners at Columbus City Schools and Nationwide Children's Hospital at our Back to School Student Health Fair, where dozens of kids received their vaccines. We'll be back at East High School this Saturday (August 9) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We are proud to stand with The African American Male Wellness Agency to address health disparities so that black men who have higher rates of preventable disease like heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes can live long and healthy lives.
