Exposition (the explanation of the text) is science. Delivery is art. The proper combination of both equals faithful, effective preaching.

“Good preaching is the product of great study.” While dry, laborious lectures would not be the goal, informed preaching would be. The study is the fountainhead of sermonizing. Prayer is vital but no replacement for study. You pray for crops at the end of a hoe handle. #work

My little woman has been in the hospital since Monday with a raging infection. This is the fourth different antibiotic and her white count is rising and red count is dropping. They are hoping to prevent it from getting into her lungs and/or blood steam. Would you pray for her?

For the first time in 5 days my little woman received good news. For the first time her white count is dropping and red count is rising!!

Some better news today. The plan is to, unless something unusual happens, to release my little woman from the hospital on Monday with 7-10 days of IV antibiotic.
