Best description of #empathy that I have encountered. P. 123 Brené Brown #atlasoftheheart Much more nuanced than “walking in someone else’s shoes”. This is life-changing 💜

Ok. So in my world, I’m aware of three patients and two doctors coming down with covid in the last 6 days If you have a cough, please do a lateral flow test As someone who works in a #longcovid clinic, sure, covid MIGHT just give you a cough, but might also do much more

I knew I had covid but I wanted to see how many days it took for a test to show positive after my symptoms started. Bit worrying as most of my patients test at onset of symptoms and then think they don’t have covid. (I bought these tests myself, not wasted NHS resources).

Danny is a loss to the NHS. He is a senior anaesthetist, early in his career. He is a leader, an academic, and an educator. He is everything we should want to retain, but can't. Wes Streeting MP, you need to talk to people like Danny.
