iNDI: New service project is creating more than 100 isogenic cell lines, each carrying a different ADRD risk variant. The cells will be available through The Jackson Laboratory. Express interest now! @NINDSnews N/A ow.ly/JpG050EGPEP

My name is Matt Putorti. I’m a gay, Catholic, NoCo native & Democrat challenging Elise Stefanik in #NY21. We are building a movement in Northern New York to protect our values. My opponent has 360,000 followers. I have 41,000. Can you help us get to 50,000 followers?

On #WorldBrainDay we revisit our blog featuring an interview with Mark R Cookson (he/him/his) and @wardm50 NIH scientists involved in the #iNDI project-- the largest #iPSC-based disease modeling initiative for #Alzheimers and related dementias. Read here 👉 hubs.li/H0SVw_k0

“Do you know how many emails I get a day? I don’t read the emails. I get the action points!” - Logan Roy on email. An evil character on an evil technology. #Succession

If the author list indicates equal contribution, then: 1. we must normalize the free rearranging of equal authors (on CVs, etc) 2. abbreviated citations should name all first equals where practical: Name1, Name2, et al. (2021)

Very excited to share our preprint on a method for controlling zygosity in CRISPR edits using dCas9. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Another preprint to share! This has been a big collaborative effort and we are excited to get this information out into the world. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

A major drawback of the #iPSC field is that there are no broadly used reference cell lines. Very happy that our lab could contribute to this important initiative!

Please RT! I'm proud to tell everyone that the iPSC Neurodegenerative Disease Initiative #iNDI that I've been leading with @wardm50 is a physical entity as of today so let me explain why this is a huge deal: jax.org/jax-mice-and-s…

We have liftoff! Great overviews of the official launch of the iPSC Neurodegenerative Disease Initiative (iNDI). Large-scale, NIH-funded resource of genetically-engineered isogenic iPSC lines harboring neurodegeneration-related mutations. nia.nih.gov/news/new-web-p…

New batch of engineered iPSC lines from JAX/iNDI, including much-requested APOE variants! Isogenic sets of APOE2, 3, 4, and Christchurch variants, plus revertant controls, all deeply QC'd and available with a clickable online MTA. jax.org/jax-mice-and-s…

Jupiter has been amazing lately. We’ve been taking the telescope out a couple nights a week to see where the Galilean moons are positioned. Last night, all four were clustered in groups of two on the right of the planet. I could also make out the north and south equatorial bands

Our paper demonstrating how we selected KOLF2.1J as the lead hiPSC line for #iNDI is out today! Thanks to all involved (and there were many). Lots of details in the thread below.
