On our way from Der- Albalah to Rafah. This is what you see on both sides of the streets. Bombs and destruction.

This is Mahmoud. A volunteer at the hospital with a heartbreaking story. He lost his entire family - parents and four siblings. For the last 3 months he has been living in a tent in the hospital. No family, no home, no hope for the future.

Many of us don’t recognize this sound. But for the people of Gaza it is their constant companion during the day and night. I lived with it for 9 days, non-stop. When you don’t hear this noise, it is even scarier as it might mean an imminent bombing.

This 11-year-old boy and his mother are separated from his father and older brother, with no idea where they are. They are now living in a tent and devote their time to memorizing the Quran during the day.
