Impressive work using The Cancer Dependency Map Project data to identify DCAF5 as a synthetic lethal target in SMARCB1 mutant cancers. Congrats The Roberts Lab !!!😍
New data is live on depmap.org! We are excited to share new CRISPR and omics data, an update in our CRISPR method, Chronos and a new portal interface. #DepMap Portal #DepMap #OpenScience #CancerResearch
Nature Cancer The following thread is a “tweetorial” on our study Genome-scale functional genomics identify genes preferentially essential for multiple myeloma cells compared to other neoplasias

Nature Cancer Dana-Farber Broad Institute We teamed up with The Cancer Dependency Map Project to systematically characterize the molecular vulnerabilities of MM cells through genome-scale CRISPR gene-editing screens. We also performed further preclinical characterization of key genes selected by these screens (3/n)
The 23Q2 data release is live on depmap.org! We are excited to share new CRISPR and omics data, an update in our CRISPR method, Chronos, a new Target Discovery app and a new cell line page. #DepMap Portal #DepMap #OpenScience #CancerResearch
Very nice work! This bias is most noticeable in genes with weak dependency effects where the top correlates are the genes in the same chromosome arm.
Very timely, stay tuned for an update on 23Q2 The Cancer Dependency Map Project release where we made a correction that accounts for this effect
Now online Nature Communications: our study describing an expanded map of genetic dependencies in #chordoma , revealing new potential therapeutic targets (e.g., SHP2). Very special thanks to Stuart Schreiber, Mathias Wawer, and Chordoma Foundation!

📢 Last days to register to the 1st European Cancer Dependency Map Symposium #EUDepMap with top researchers from @Humantechnopole EMBL-EBI Wellcome Sanger Institute ETH Zurich on cutting-edge research on cancer vulnerabilities and therapeutic targets. bit.ly/3TdGLU3
We’re excited to be partnering with the Broad Institute alongside other organizations on the The Cancer Dependency Map Project Project. We hope this will help us discover new tumor vulnerabilities that one day could lead to cures for patients. #syntheticlethal #depmap #cancerresearch
