Much deserved additional pay inreases of up to 28.5% for aged care workers in FWC work value case. Down to years of work by HSU National, United Workers Union, ANMF - Australian Nursing Midwifery Federation. Congratulations.
Some substantial pay increases and new classification structures should provide the foundation for proper recognition and valuation of aged care work into the future. The Government must fully fund the pay increases in the upcoming budget Centre for Future Work
