On the 15th of January 2025 CAF organized the CHAN Draw in Nairobi, Kenya. This was the first test of our safety and security operational readiness as we prepare earnestly for the final tournament in August. I cannot but reflect and acknowledge our LOC Counterparts from Kenya

Today we concluded the 19th Safe Stadium Initiative Training Workshop in Egypt. We appreciate EFA for hosting this workshop and congratulate all participants for Job well done.

It is refreshing to listen to Senator Natasha Akpoti speak in the senate her clarity of thought and boldness to confront the system is highly commendable in the face of stiff opposition . I wept for my country while watching how she was suspended.

The Guinean Football Federation became the 21st Country to host the CAF Safe Stadium Initiative. We are committed to empowering all critical safety and security officers in the 54 CAF member associations across Africa. We thank the leadership of FGF for hosting.

Seychelles became the 22nd Country to Host the CAF Safe Stadium Initiative in Africa out of the 54 Members of CAF. We thank the football leadership of Seychelles and will continue to engage with those countries still pending. Congratulations to the participants .
