I still mask while teaching so that is one thing I can recycle. Unfortunately gloves I use in lab would not be eligible since we deal with organics. But if you work in clinical setting or deal with aqueous solutions, connect with UW Sustainability to see if you can recycle your PPE!

A standard ducted fume hood can use as much energy as three homes a year! Most of my lab uses ductless hoods that are turned off when not in use, but my waste hood is ducted. I got these sash stickers and the response has been awesome! #GreenLabsEarthWeek
