All MH professionals should read this, and have a strong word with themselves as soon as they start to feel defensive. This is real, this is happening to some degree in every service, and we turn a blind eye because a discharge or 'gatekeeping' is supposedly a success

I love Suhana for her honesty, constant drive to lead by example, & the way she uses her experience to make sure her own colleagues are better looked after. There is still stigma in medicine, especially for people already marginalised. Let's not pretend otherwise.

Medigolegal question: if a medical service mandates patients attend a webinar in order to keep their place on a waiting list, & also mandates they display their full name, so that all attendees know each other's names, is this within confidentiality law/ policy?

It boils my piss that that people eligible for primary care Talking Therapies services (IAPT) can access therapies like EMDR and couples therapy whereas people who are too high risk/complex/unwell are left to broken CMHT’s where the vast majority of pts have no access to >
