"TB experience helped a lot in the fight against #COVID19. And us working on TB, we learned from COVID-19 how fragile humans are and how easily our lives can be turned upside down. This fragility also taught us resilience" -Lucica Ditiu

It was a great pleasure to have taken part in the High-Level roundtable meeting for TB response in the African region under the theme "unprecedented action for unprecedented times" organized by The Global Fund, Stop TB Partnership and hosted by #NigerianMoH.

DO YOU KNOW KNOW? According to WHO about 21,000 Nigerians are Resistant to TB Drugs in 2019 which puts Nigeria on this list of high TB burdened countries. This is avoidable only if these cases are diagnosed & treated early enough. We can do better to #StopTB in Nigeria.

Due to Covid-19 there's been a 17% reduction in TB case findings in the Q2 of 2020 which has further complicate the burden of TB cases in Nigeria.
