Proud to speak at the Leeds May Day Rally. We need policies that deliver for the working class majority, a trade unionism that fights back and a mass movement against the far right. The government must drop cuts to disability benefits and introduce a Wealth Tax instead.

On Saturday 3rd May members of DPAC joined the annual May Day rally organised by Leeds Trades Council. The rally showed a strong display of solidarity, with activists from all movements understanding the intersectionality of their various campaigns.

Yesterday, I led a Westminster Hall debate on government welfare cuts, setting out the damage these would do to our communities. I reminded the government that cuts have consequences and urged them to change course.
