Lovely new #archive collection relating to the 1914 British Science Association Australia trip: the diaries and watercolour journal of Marion Seward, with associated photographs. For today’s #EYAHeroes theme Explore Your Archive, the Archive holds the personal papers and medals of Sir Lionel Whitby, alumnus and Master of #downingcollege (1947-56). He was awarded the MC in #WW1, worked on early antibiotics and led the Army Blood Transfusion Service in #WW2.
