@ Newcastle fans in my mentions this morning!

Huge credit to Anthony Gordon for turning it around so spectacularly, he's been sensational this season.

I didn't see him becoming the player he now is so quickly... I was wrong!

If I was Slot and I was keen to bring a former player to Liverpool to help ease the transition...

I'd bring Dávid Hancko.

Left footed, capable of playing at left back and a simply exceptional passer of the ball.

With Van Dijk 33 in July, can see it happening!

Haaland has scored 32 goals this season.

That's a tally that Henry and Rooney topped twice in this country, Aguero once and Suarez never did.

Not bad for a 'League 2' level striker who has missed 12 games of this season with injury.

Bournemouth didn't win a single one of their opening 9 League games but since then...

42 points in 25 games, 5th in the League in that time.

If they'd started and maintained that pace, they'd finish with 63 points, good enough for 6th last season.

Iraola 👏

It’s naive to assume that the Premier League table is a perfect representation of quality… Man United are 6th.

Way short of their top level today, but a huge win in their hardest remaining fixture…

I think Arsenal are the best team in the League this season.

White, Odegaard, Saka…

I can’t think of a more natural 3 man flank in world football.

The connections, the interchange, the synchronisation… clockwork.

Exceptional players.

2 goals against Chelsea, 2 goals against Brighton, a goal vs Newcastle, a winner vs Brentford, a goal today…

Kai Havertz has been a brilliant signing.

Cue loads of tweets about VAR ruining the game…

I have a lot of sympathy with people who believe that.

But for me that’s a perfect example of why we need it.

That call could define this game, this season and to some extent these players’ careers.

Imagine being the manager taking over from Jurgen Klopp and the pressure that brings…

Imagine your club deciding to cash in on Mo Salah, their best player of the last 7 years…

Imagine the reaction to the inevitable adaption period.

I don’t envy Slot with the Salah situation.

This would be my 23/24 Team of the season!

Don’t think I’m being biased having 3 English players but please correct me if I’m wrong.

If this is true… Varane has to go down as one of the biggest disappointments of the last 5 years.

Massive fanfare, “Champions League Varane,” he misses 45 games in 2 seasons and you can count the amount of top performances on one hand.

I think we are entering into a dangerous period when discussing coaches of...

'But what have they achieved in a Top League?'

Look at the history of any great coach, someone always had to take a chance on them. Pep from Barca B, Klopp at Mainz, Ancelotti at Reggiana etc...

Bayern Munich have had 7 different managers in the last 8 years.

It never really gets talked about enough but they are incredibly trigger happy.

I think there's a very big possibility they end up firing Nagelsmann... regretting it... firing Tuchel... regretting it and end up…

In previous years PFA Player of the Year has created a lot of outrage, but this year there are so many worthy candidates.

Foden, Rodri, Rice, Van Dijk, Watkins, Palmer...

Give it to anyone of them and you've just got to say; 'yeh they had a great season.'
