It is absolutely imperative that Speaker Mike Johnson put aid to Ukraine to a vote this week. They simply cannot do this alone and America has to continue to be the leader in the fight for democracy. The tyranny of Putin, as backed by Iran, has to stop with Ukraine.

The decision by No Labels is clearly the right one. I’ve given them a hard time for entertaining the idea of running a ticket for President, but I’ve also said that their efforts to bring folks in Congress together are laudable. I hope they will refocus on that now.
