Just got back home! Thanks to everyone who came to Rich Mix last night and a v. special thank you to The Repeat Beat Poet for opening up the show. I didn't take any pictures so you'll have to imagine lots of smiling faces in a theatre & a very tasty cheese baguel from Brick Lane.

That's me done! 17 shows. 9 golf flags. Loads of yellow tape. I celebrated last night by going to see Boo Hewerdine and Jill Jackson who were cracking. Massive thanks to everyone who's sorted me beds, put in good words & shouted out about the show. It means the absolute world.

All set for my show in Stanhope tonight. Tomorrow I'm off to Helsington and Brigsteer village hall in Kendal. It sounds a bit like there might be vampires. I've decided to pack garlic.

Fun times with Colin and Hillary from Stanhope here. They came to one of my workshops. Not only did they offer to drive me the actual width of the country to my gig in Helsington last night, they also took me to a nature reserve on the way. I saw a lot of coots and 4 mallards.

I'm on the The Verb tomorrow! It was recorded last week and I read some poems from the Door-to-Door christmas special. The other guests were Amelia Coburn, @danyahmiller and Jackie Kay. We had a Thai curry beforehand and it was just lovely. Friday 22nd BBC Radio 3, 10pm.

Gently stepping back into this account to say there is news. Two bits of absolutely huge news. I'm going to announce the first bit next Wednesday. Mainly because I haven't been on here in ages and it feels a bit weird going from 0 to 100 in the space of one post.

I'm unbelievably excited to announce that I'll be making a show about Door-to-Door Poetry this year for BBC Radio 4 ! It's going to be made of all new material & will involve a trip to another country. Stay tuned.
