Maximise dairy-beef profitability, by using high DBI bulls.
If using beef AI, identify the best bulls from the ICBF Active Beef Bull list; ideally use a team of bulls.
Try to maximise carcass merit, by selecting bulls with the highest PTAs for carcass weight and conformation.

After what felt like a million day Winter, it’s great to be back on the land.

Blown away by the knowledge of these teens presenting their projects in the Certified Irish Angus competition. Nearly all the projects centre on sustainability; Angus cattle are small and don’t need meal to finish. Great focus on soil health, mixed swards and regenerative farming.
