My ex husband was a volunteer fire fighter when he still lived in CT. He’d come home absolutely shattered, covered head to toe in soot (you NEVER get that smell out of the gear). It’s hard work beating back flames in smoke, heat & wind. Do consider donating to VWS Wildfires
