Great to see the UK stepping back into its leadership role in development with a £66.7m pledge to IFAD. - A 40% increase from the last pledge bringing it back in line with its previous pledges. This will help improve food security and resilience for the world’s rural poor.

Another excellent global Farmers Forum held at IFAD. 20 year anniversary. The culmination of national & regional meetings - 80 farmer leaders attending. Focus on our partnership both on projects and policy & 1-2 way of UN Decade of Family Farming. A good time to reflect.
