It’s certainly a cold airmass over the UK today. Temperatures everywhere way below what we’d expect in mid September. Over 8°C below normal in Pershore. Via Dan Harris

Another example of how cold the current airmass is for the time of year. Yesterday was the coldest day in the first half of September for 26 years.

Brrr did you notice the chill last night? We had a widespread frost with all four countries of the UK dropping below zero Celsius and temperatures got as low as -2.7 Celsius in Topcliffe It is the earliest in September we have seen frost in the south of Wales since 2019 ❄️
