The final paragraph of the three liberals' Dobbs dissent: "With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent. "

I'm outraged by the Supreme Court's decision. As a pro-choice pastor, I’ll never back down from this fight. Women must be able to make their own health care decisions, not politicians.

The U.S. Supreme Court made it easier to own a gun, gave cops the ability to not read Miranda Rights, gave religious schools public funding, and overturned Roe v Wade after 50 years of precedence. Welcome to conservative America. Never vote Republican again.

Clarence Thomas writes, in a concurring opinion, that the Supreme Court should reconsider Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell — the rulings that now protect contraception, same-sex relationships, and same-sex marriage.

Barack Obama (@barackobama) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

The already broken healthcare system is going to collapse under this decision. I don’t see how we can ever fix this. Pregnancy is too dangerous.

Wealthy white women will have zero trouble getting abortions and/or birth control. It’ll be the poor black and brown women living in red states who will be effected by this the most.

I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesn’t have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.

In the face of yesterday's decision by SCOTUS Updates to reverse women's right to reproductive care ACP joins with >400k physicians in expressing grave concern re impact on access to care & increasing HC disparities as a result. Rolling up our sleeves to get to work.

According to the Highland Park press conference, in 2019 the suspect threatened to kill people and had his "knife collection" removed. So why was he able to "legally" purchase five firearms a year ago? #twill

A patient was suffering with abdominal pain and recurrent ascites for months without a diagnosis. A paracentesis procedure resulted in an "augenblick" diagnosis by a resident at OHSU IM Residency, which led to treatment/cure. Check it out: rdcu.be/cQ8fd PRIME Procedural Research and Innovation

It has happened again. I was working off a generic resident schedule in a new clinic. The staff who were rooming the patients could not figure out who to hand the information to as the provider was "Blank".
