~18 months from concept to funding! The idea: give anti-Achromobacter phages to ppl w/ CF, look at safety, FEV1, & 'do science' (PK, PD, microbiome, immunity). Hopefully what we will learn with Daria Van Tyne & Saima Aslam will help us improve the lives of pwCF in the future.
If men suffered from recurrent UTIs at the same rate as women there would be more articles about it, more money for research and more answers and treatments. Thanks nora bradford for trying to raise awareness about this debilitating condition that women often suffer in silence.
