Glad to have witnessed this engagement hosted by UNA UGANDA where like minded-individuals convenened, shared experiences, provided guidance and gave triggers to young people to step out of their confinements.

Yesterday’s youth consultation towards the Voluntary National Review (VNR) report was a success. One thing is for sure; NO ONE should be left behind. Youth participation is therefore paramount as we look towards the 6 goals of focus for the next year.

Engaging community members in dialogues around menstruation is key to ending the stigma around it. We need to normalise these conversations because periods are normal and healthy. Their placards speak volumes. We need to make sure that all voices are heard. #EndPeriodStigma

Through inclusive platforms & collaborative partnerships, youth are not just participating in the VNR consultation—they're leading it.

Their voices, ideas, & passion are shaping policies and shaping the future of development in Uganda.

Youth participation in #YouthVNRConsultation in partnership with UNA UGANDA Kyambogo University UNA UGANDA Office of the Prime Minister - Uganda Open Space Center under the theme Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradivating poverty intimes of multiple crises; the efficiency delivery of sustainable resilient, innovative solutions

Passion alone is not sufficient to cause the change we want to see. We have to equip ourselves with knowledge!
The sustainable development agenda has a roadmap drafted in different global & national instruments which we can probe to see tangible action only if we are informed!

Jemba Micheal Senkole MD emphasizes that to remain relevant in any field, one must possess knowledge. Therefore, to achieve tangible and measurable results, it's crucial to have a deep understanding of the SDGs Additionally, he encourages the youth to network and collaborate effectively

Honored to have Joined UNA UGANDA Open Space Center Uganda Youth Coalition for the SDGs SDG Secretariat Uganda for the Youth VNR consultation. The consultation aimed at gathering the success stories and challenges the youths encounter while implementing SDGs so us to inform the #3RDVNRUg24 .

Dr. Melody Arindagye highlights lack of awareness as a key factor limiting the achievement of sustainable development goals. Partnership and collaboration of the goals is crucial; you can't achieve one without the other.
