A wonderful afternoon for the PTA Spring Bounce! A big thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun and excitement.

The Reception Class enjoyed a wonderful day at Stratford Butterfly Farm, exploring the butterfly life cycle, the wonders of tropical rainforests, and the various insects and plants in these habitats. They also took a lovely river boat trip along the River Avon.

Year 5 visited Leicester City FC with Year 12 students. We were treated to an amazing stadium tour where we saw all the trophies, the media room, changing rooms, the ‘super’ box and the dug outs pitch side.

Year 3 went on a hike today through the beautiful countryside surrounding our school, with our guide, Mr Ward. Lots of nature and fresh air!

A fantastic day on Wednesday for our Year 4, 5 and 6 Athletics Team who competed at Aldersley Active Village in the ISA Midlands athletics meet. So very proud of ALL the athletes who represented the school. All the children were amazing! #TEAM DIXIE 🥇 x 11 🥈 x 5 🥉 x 1 🏆 x 2

Pippins had a fantastic time at Sparkenhoe Cheese farm. They learnt how cheese was made and visited the lambs, chickens and cows. #sparkenhoecheese

What a brilliant way to celebrate Father's Day! Our Reception class children and their Dads / Grandad had a fantastic Forest Afternoon filled with adventure: fire building, exciting bug hunts, discovering magical fairy string, and, of course, delicious s'mores!

What an excellent way to end last week! Congratulations to Year 5 for successfully completing their hike. We were thoroughly impressed by your newly acquired sailing abilities at the regatta, especially given the limited rest you had camping the night before!

An awesome day at the Alexandra Stadium in Birmingham on Monday. 18 Dixie children qualified to represent the Team Midlands. A great achievement!

The Pippins children were thrilled to welcome our local heroes from Market Bosworth Fire Station. They shared about their diverse jobs and how they help our community. The highlight was exploring their fire engine, designed for rural areas!

We had the pleasure of watching a rendition of ‘Pirates of Penzance’ by @operaanywhere. Our Y4 & 5 pupils joined in, confidently delivering several songs they had rehearsed with Mr Harris. Additionally, 4 Year 10 students performed with exceptional acting and singing skills!

This morning, our Head Boy and Head Girl, along with our York and Lancaster House Captains, enjoyed a special brunch with Mr Lynn.

Our Head Boys and Head Girls did a sterling job yesterday morning at the St Martin's Post-16 Fair! They spoke passionately with Year 10 students, sharing valuable insights and experiences from their journey at Dixie. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to represent the school
